My apartment is finally coming together!
We moved in a few months ago and it feels like it was last week…. and if you were to come into the apartment you would think that too. It’s been a slow start but we’ve made progress and it’s looking good! Especially now that all my paint supplies are out of the living room.
I had a coffee table and two sides tables for our living room that was given to me by my aunt and uncle in college. They were beautiful pieces but weren’t going to fit in with our apartment so I decided to sand them down and repaint them for a fun accent to our living room. It took a bit of time to get them started and going (about two months) so thank you Stefanie for being patient with me and Chris for all the hard work!
I used Behr Interior Semi-Gloss Enamel (ultra pure white) paint and primer in one for the main base color and then Ralph Lauren Metallic Gold for the accents. Who knew Ralph made paints but the color was perfect for what I wanted!
Below are some pictures of the process and the final product!
I don’t have any pictures of the coffee table during the process because Chris sanded it down for us while we were at work. 🙂
I am very happy with how they came out! The side tables took a bit of time to complete, I used a medium size brush but for the coffee table I used a paint roller for the white and it was unbelievable how quicker and easier it was to fill it out. Chris also helped with the coffee table so that also helped in speeding the process along!
Although the process was long and exhausting I’m happy I was able to complete it and it was a fun project to work on. I love crafting, repurposing and revamping projects! There are a few other projects I’m working on so I’ll make sure to share once completed.
